About ZOS
Upholding Standards in
Eye Health Excellence
The Zambia Ophthalmological Society (ZOS) is a registered body of eye health professionals working or having worked in Zambia. Begun in 1992 with less than 20 members, which included Ophthalmologists and Ophthalmic Clinical Officers, the society was first led by Dr D J Kwendakwema.
Our work is grounded in integrity, professionalism, hard work, sacrifice, community service and regional integration.
