The world’s only flying eye hospital is scheduled to land in Lusaka. This will be the plane’s second visit following the maiden landing in Ndola in 2012. for the second time. The flying eye hospitals’ team of experts will work together with ZOS members for a period of 3 weeks providing state of the art eye services to the people of Zambia. The services will be provided on board the plane at the UTH Eye hospital in may 2020.
University Teaching Hospitals’ eye hospital was declared by the honourable minister of health Dr Chitalu Chilufya MP, as the first eye Hospital in Zambia providing state of the art eye services to the people of Zambia.
